Ltd., a 100 per cent wholly owned subsidiary of FrigorTec GmbH, is one of the world leading companies in all fields of crane cooling (iron and steel industry). Since 1961, the company is designing, producing and supplying heavy duty air conditioners for the severe conditions to be found, e.g. on hot metal handling crane in steel mills, smelting foundries, aluminium production, harbour works and container terminals.
The company focus to provide the best quality, so that clients production processes remain safe and secure. All products are produced in the parent plant located in Amtzell, Germany. Every device passes a quality inspection with test runs before delivery. FrigorTec solutions are sold in over 80 countries through its worldwide distribution network. CRANEFRIGOR crane cooling units There are various ranges of products for different applications. CRANEFRIGOR focuses on temperature range between 45 C and 90 C. The unit comes with different models split type (V model) and compact type (T model). Split type (V-Model), machine parts (liquefier) and air-conditioning part (evaporator) are set up separately. The air-conditioning part is connected to the machine parts with refrigerant lines. The air-conditioning part is situated directly next to the heat source and works most effectively here.
A wide range of individual component combinations allow for an exact output adjustment. The heat absorbed into the air-conditioning unit is dissipated with ambient air. V- Model Example:installation of evaporator inside the girders and the machine part condenser outside In compact type (T-Model), the arrangements are much more simple and compact. Whereas in the compact air conditioners, the machine part and the air-conditioning part (both modules) can be configured in various ways. This construction unit system allows for simple layout and accommodation to their needs. The cooled air is guided through channels to the crane bridge or cabin and then supplemented with fresh air, drawn back by the air circulation. The heat absorbed into the air conditioning unit is drawn off with the surrounding air in the machine part.
T-Model Example:

The units are tailored to the client's work place regulations. Its machines construction includes robust construction designed for crane operation considering vibration, dust, dirt, and low- and high-ambient temperatures exposure.
